Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients appropriately for scanning
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Active unencumbered Radiology Tech license
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
  • Two years of work experience as a Radiology Tech
  • One year of Epic experience
  • Associates Degree in Radiology Technology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and service excellence
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise
