Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, managing complex medical conditions and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, pulmonary artery lines, and ventilator settings, ensuring accurate and timely interventions.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contributing to the development and implementation of patient care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience as an ICU Registered Nurse, with a strong background in critical care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment, with a valid ACLS and BCLS certification.
  • Ability to work a 3x12 hour day shift, with every other weekend rotation, and a willingness to float within the ICU scope as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
