Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops a skilled and motivated technical support team while fostering a positive team culture.

  • Mentors and coaches team members through regular one-on-one meetings and conducts annual performance evaluations.
  • Oversees IT staff workloads, prioritizes projects, and creates tracking systems for departmental initiatives.
  • Acts as the Technical Project Manager for IT, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with preferred vendors.
  • Establishes and manages the annual IT budget, ensuring effective tracking of hardware, licensing, and vendor agreements.

  • Promotes adherence to information security policies to safeguard organizational assets and data.
  • Ensures that project documentation is organized, secure, and accessible.

System Administration Duties:
  • Oversees the management of a predominantly cloud-based enterprise infrastructure.
  • Collaborates with team members to enhance the interoperability of cloud applications and physical systems.
  • Ensures optimal uptime for technology infrastructure and identifies opportunities for workflow improvements.
  • Monitors system performance metrics and develops strategies for enhancements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least eight years of experience in the IT sector.
  • Experience in people management and team leadership.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in IT project management.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience with security audits.
  • Proficient in managing cloud-based environments, including Microsoft 365 and related technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of physical servers, virtualization, and various operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking principles.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to occasionally adjust work hours to meet project deadlines.
