Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and follow verbal, written, and drawn instructions to assemble parts using a variety of fasteners and joining techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Perform tasks in a timely manner, meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Report progress and suggest improvements to supervisors and engineers.
  • Identify and suggest productivity and quality improvements to supervisors and engineers.

Requirements:

  • Trade school or relevant mechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute verbal, written, and drawn instructions, including 2D and 3D engineering drawings and/or schematics.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude, enabling the use of sound judgment in the proper use of fasteners and assembly steps.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of hand, electrical, and pneumatic tools.
  • Ability to assess and diagnose problematic situations, and repair issues.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and safely operate a fork truck.
  • Welding skills preferred but not required.
