Position Overview:

We are in search of an AI Solutions Engineer who will be responsible for architecting and developing software applications that harness AI-driven capabilities for mission-critical operations. In this role, you will create applications utilizing various models in vision, language, and other domains, specifically tailored for distinct hardware and operational requirements to enhance mission effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop AI-driven applications that support significant operational use cases.
  • Create frameworks for monitoring, testing, and evaluating the performance of AI applications.
  • Design application patterns that maximize efficiency while considering power, thermal, and other hardware limitations.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a dynamic, innovative, and cohesive work environment.
Travel Requirements: 5-15%

Work Environment: Hybrid, with a requirement to be present in the office three days a week.

The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive, and additional tasks may be assigned as organizational needs evolve. We are looking for a proactive individual who can adapt and embrace new challenges as they arise.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, ideally with a background in developing applications for embedded systems on Linux or Android platforms.
  • Familiarity with large language model (LLM) application patterns and components, including vector databases, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and conversational interfaces.
  • Experience with model inference APIs on GPUs and other specialized hardware.
  • Knowledge of fine-tuning models for specific applications, such as query optimization and focused assistance.
  • A passion for personal growth and mentoring others, with a keen interest in exploring new technologies and collaborating with teams to navigate uncertainties.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in developing applications that integrate AI APIs into intelligent agents.
  • Experience with multimodal AI model applications.
  • Proficiency in DevOps methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, and automation of infrastructure.
