Job Summary

The Diagnostic Technologist, Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality of radiographic images acquired in Diagnostic Radiology. This includes performing technical quality reviews, verifying image accuracy, and coordinating workflow to facilitate timely image acquisition and reporting of results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical quality reviews of images to ensure high quality and diagnostic accuracy
  • Verify image accuracy and ensure patient information is managed correctly
  • Coordinate workflow to facilitate timely image acquisition and reporting of results
  • Report Emergency Department delays to leadership
  • Assume leadership responsibility for patient flow of Radiology Department after normal business hours
  • Collaborate with Information Systems to ensure efficient operation of Radiology systems and software
Requirements
  • ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology
  • AHA BLS Provider CPR
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience with healthcare information systems and Epic preferred
