Dysphagia Therapist

About the Role
Collage Home & Community Rehabilitation Partners is a leading provider of neurological rehabilitation services in San Diego, CA and surrounding areas. We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a Dysphagia Therapist.

Job Summary
We provide intensive, individualized services working one-on-one with patients in their own homes and communities. Patients are accepted anywhere on the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that address functional goals, resulting in durable outcomes.

Evaluation and Treatment
The successful candidate will evaluate and treat impairments including all areas of speech and language, executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs. They will work closely with our experienced teams to build a program tailored to each patient's specific issues.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve functional abilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure and certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
- Experience in treating neurologically related disorders strongly preferred
