Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform radiography procedures and evaluate radiographs for technical quality. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures as required, achieving a high level of film quality.
- Observe for film artifacts and minimize them; clean cassettes as necessary.
- Document procedures and stat reads according to departmental policies.
- Obtain patient history as needed and assist radiologists during procedures.
- Advising supervisors of items needed from the storeroom or vendors.
- Demonstrate ability to shut down radiologic equipment and/or reboot computers.
- High School Graduate (or GED) Required. Graduate from an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
- Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations: ARRT (R) or registry eligible, Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services MRT program, Current BLS.
