We are seeking a skilled Mobile Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team at Magnet Medical. In this role, you will operate mammography equipment to capture clear and accurate images of breast tissue, ensuring high-quality results for early detection of breast abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities:- Imaging and Patient Care
- Position and prepare patients for mammography exams, ensuring their comfort and proper positioning.
- Operate mammography equipment to capture clear and accurate images of the breast tissue.
- Assist patients with undressing and putting on a gown, as well as positioning the breast for imaging.
- Patient Education and Comfort
- Greet patients and explain the procedure, answering any questions to alleviate anxiety.
- Educate patients on the importance of mammograms and breast health, helping them understand the process and ensuring they know what to expect.
- Reassure patients during the exam, maintaining a calm and empathetic demeanor.
- Quality Control and Image Evaluation
- Review mammograms for clarity and completeness, ensuring the images meet diagnostic standards.
- Ensure that images are free from artifacts or distortions that could hinder diagnosis.
- Work closely with radiologists to ensure that high-quality images are produced and evaluate whether additional views or retakes are necessary.
