We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Substance Abuse Monitor to join our team at the State of Nebraska. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our drug screening program.
Job Summary:The Substance Abuse Monitor is responsible for coordinating and conducting drug screenings, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to Probation Officers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Probation Officers with client contact and scheduling activities
- Conduct drug screenings in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain accurate records of testing results and specimen storage
- Provide support to Probation Officers with client interactions and documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's Degree in a related field or one year of experience as a drug technician
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Knowledge of drug screening procedures and protocols
