Substance Abuse Monitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Substance Abuse Monitor to join our team at the State of Nebraska. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our drug screening program.

The Substance Abuse Monitor is responsible for coordinating and conducting drug screenings, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to Probation Officers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist Probation Officers with client contact and scheduling activities
• Conduct drug screenings in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain accurate records of testing results and specimen storage
• Provide support to Probation Officers with client interactions and documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate's Degree in a related field or one year of experience as a drug technician
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Knowledge of drug screening procedures and protocols
