Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: BLS
- Patient Demographics: Typical MedSurg cases including Chest Pain, COPD, AMS, Pneumonia, UTI, and Abdominal Pain
- Specialty Area: 7W Stepdown - 22
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- BLS Certification is essential
- Submissions limited to one position at a time within the system
- Previous permanent candidates must have a two-year gap
- Travelers who completed a full year must also have a two-year gap
- Shifts: 7a-7:30p; 7p-7:30a
- Weekend Commitment: 2 weekends per schedule
- Holiday Obligation: Integration into the permanent staff holiday roster
- Common Drips: Yes - Includes drips in Stepdown; floor nurses manage PCAs, heparin, etc.
- Respiratory Equipment: As per RT guidelines
- Telemetry: Yes - Ability to interpret strips alongside telemetry monitoring staff
- Floating Requirement: Potential to be assigned to any floor or stepdown unit
- Must possess a driver's license with an address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- Travel teams should be submitted collectively in one communication
- Submissions are limited to two candidates per opening; if maximum is reached, additional submissions will be held until a position becomes available
- COVID-19 vaccination is required, or an approved exemption for medical or religious reasons
