Shift Available: PRN availability - All Shifts Monday - Friday & Weekends
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Twin Lakes Community. As a PRN nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care and services to our residents, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the highest level of care.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing care and services to residents, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting resident care.
- Initiate and implement comprehensive nursing care plans, working with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure individualized care.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide follow-up care as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments according to written physician's orders, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and record resident care and services provided, including vital signs, medications, and treatments.
- Comply with infection control procedures and report any concerns to supervision.
- Provide counseling to residents' families as needed and refer specific problems to the appropriate TLC employees.
- Complete all necessary documentation on residents and ensure proper documentation is sent or retrieved if resident moves from one level of care to another.
- Oversee and be responsible for care and services provided by LPNs and CNAs.
- Respond and react in a kind, polite, and professional manner to residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervision.
- Protect confidential information concerning employees, residents, family, and/or the organization.
- Adhere to all organizational, departmental, and nursing procedures in the performance of position responsibilities.
- Attend organizational or departmental conferences and/or in-services as scheduled.
- Maintain RN or LPN licensing requirements.
- 2 years experience in Skilled Nursing environment.
