The Senior Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and effective multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee fixed asset management and general ledger account reconciliations, assist with daily electronic funds transfer reviews, and collaborate with A/P and A/R teams to ensure compliance with internal control protocols.
  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts accurately.
  • Maintain the month-end closing checklist and support A/P and A/R activities related to month-end processes.
  • Collect and prepare documentation for both internal and external audits.
  • Propose and assist in implementing process enhancements and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on precision.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications; experience with Sage 100 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and commitment to adherence.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation: Competitive salary range based on experience
