Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Physical Security Analyst. This role is crucial to our security operations, encompassing physical security, threat assessment, and investigative duties, while supporting site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct digital forensic evaluations and manage access requests for internal inquiries.
- Lead on-site and off-site security risk assessments, ensuring optimal placement and installation of physical security systems.
- Act as the convoy security coordinator for strategic item movements within our operational footprint.
- Facilitate security protocols for long-distance transport of critical components to various facilities.
- Assist in managing access control through the oversight of badge issuance and recovery processes.
- Oversee parking and traffic management operations.
- Collaborate with the Florida Administrative Team to enhance security measures and visitor management.
- Support the Facilities Operations Team in managing parking and key & lock programs.
- Document security incidents related to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Facilities, or HR matters.
- Contribute to launch operations at designated sites as required.
- Prepare reports, meeting notes, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- A strong passion for our mission of enabling human life in space.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in military, law enforcement, or security.
- Experience in physical security operations and security technology, including access control and surveillance systems.
- Knowledge in threat management and incident response.
- Experience in investigations, both criminal and administrative.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Government, Military, Law Enforcement, or Corporate Security.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in security, business, or a related field.
