Position Overview

This role requires a dedicated Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to provide essential medical services in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing hospital calls during designated periods, ensuring high-quality care for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule: The position involves weekend coverage, with flexibility to choose preferred weekends.
  • Clinical Duties: Responsibilities include handling deliveries, performing C-sections, and conducting necessary surgical procedures such as hysterectomies. Experience with robotic surgery is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Call Requirements: The physician will be on a 24-hour call schedule from Friday evening to Monday morning, covering four specific days.
Qualifications
  • Licensure: Candidates must be Board Certified and possess BLS and DEA certifications. An Indiana medical license is required, although IMLS providers may also be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
