Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor House PRN to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our House PRN unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate intradepartmental and interdepartmental functioning of the hospital.
  • Direct and supervise nursing staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a clinical resource, providing guidance and support to staff in complex patient situations.
  • Manage admission and discharge processes, ensuring efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Model and promote a patient-centered care approach, ensuring exceptional patient experiences.
  • Collaborate with management and administrative teams to ensure staff productivity and resource utilization.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role and 1 year as a House Supervisor.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
