About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team at Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm in North America. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires a self-sufficient, motivated, and safety-oriented individual to operate several types of extrusion machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn to operate different types of plastic extrusion machines.
  • Set up and monitor extrusion machines to meet quota and quality specifications.
  • Develop a solid understanding of quality control.
  • Work efficiently and productively, with the ability to multi-task and use basic and power hand tools.
  • Stack material in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations and Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices.
  • Respect and build working relationships with co-workers.
  • Regularly clean the work area and tools.
  • Successfully complete on-the-job training.
  • Lift up to 50lbs repetitively and operate a forklift.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate (or equivalent).
  • Ability to operate large precision shop machinery.
  • Strong aptitude in problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to articulate problems and solutions verbally.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and personal initiative related to problem-resolution duties with follow-through and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing stressful situations.
