About the Role

Fogelman, a leading provider of multifamily property management services, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Crestmark Apartments in West Atlanta. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and working collaboratively with our maintenance supervisor to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete maintenance service requests and repairs to buildings and grounds as assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including make-ready units, to ensure our properties are well-maintained and ready for new residents.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and supplies to ensure they are in good working condition and properly inventoried.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance projects to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Escalate unresolved service issues to the service director and participate in on-call rotation to respond to emergency calls as needed.
  • Provide positive communications with residents, vendors, and coworkers, and adhere to company safety policies at all times.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in apartment maintenance, preferably with HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
  • Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair, as well as the use of computers and online applications.
  • Working knowledge of property systems, such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo, is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required, depending on the property.
Work Environment

The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, and occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high and precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
