Job Opportunity at Core Diagnostics, LLC

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Independent Contractor to join our team at Core Diagnostics, LLC. As a clinical laboratory collection site, we provide affordable lab tests to improve patients' health. Our focus is on Drug Testing, DNA Testing, and Blood Collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests, including blood collection, drug tests, DNA specimen collection, and other point-of-care testing.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and sterilize lab equipment.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens and prepare them for courier service.
  • Log and record lab work, maintaining accurate logbooks.
  • Review lab work before sending it to labs, organize lab forms, and scan data.
  • Enter lab tests and correct improperly filed reports.
  • Maintain a patient-friendly environment and confidentiality.
  • Perform venipuncture as needed.
  • Update patient information in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide patient information and instructions.

Requirements:

  • Lab specimen collection experience.
  • A Certified Phlebotomist is required for all blood draws.
  • Pass drug screening and background screening.
  • Driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws and patient rights.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly and adapt to various situations.
  • Able to work with diverse individuals and as a member of a team.
