Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Regal Rexnord Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising shop employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment, planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a cross-functional team to drive operational excellence and achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Build and maintain effective employee relations, including hiring, training, and communication, to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Motivate team members to achieve plan goals by maintaining a regular presence on the shop floor and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Utilize visual management and the corrective action process to drive sustainable improvements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Manage employee relations issues and communicate with the union to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Operations Managers, Value Stream Managers, and Human Resources Manager to achieve business objectives.
  • Set, track, and achieve performance standards for safety, productivity, and quality.
  • Manage key performance indicators for the departments and help set stretch targets for the team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college or technical schooling preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in mechanical products.
  • Understanding and experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflict in a union environment.
  • Strong understanding of machining techniques.
  • Team-building and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess accountability for themselves and others.
  • Experience working with union contractual matters.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a high level of physical activity, with approximately 60% of time spent on the shop floor and 45% spent at a desk.
