Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, inspecting vehicles to ensure cleanliness standards, and verifying accuracy of shipments. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and safe work environment, organize the cooler, and assist with tasks such as pulling samples and tagging product on QC hold.

About the Role:
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure cleanliness standards are met, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Verify accuracy of shipments, including quantity, lot identification, and code date.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and quality policies.
  • Assist with tasks such as pulling samples, tagging product on QC hold, and rotating inventory to ensure first-in-first-out principles are upheld.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment preferred.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.


Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and location.
