Mathematics Instructor

About the Role:

New York Institute of Technology is seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics, you will be responsible for teaching Pre-Calculus and Calculus courses at our Manhattan and Long Island campuses.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Pre-Calculus and Calculus courses to undergraduate students
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning
• Use Cengage WebAssign online homework system for course assignments
• Participate in orientation and training sessions as needed

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Prior experience in teaching college-level mathematics courses
• Experience with online learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard or Canvas
