The Custodial Specialist role involves thorough cleaning and maintenance of designated areas within a facility or across multiple client locations. The specific responsibilities of the cleaning team may vary, thus flexibility in executing tasks according to client requirements is essential.

We are currently hiring and are open to providing training.

Compensation: $9.00 per hour

The following duties are essential to fulfill the basic requirements of the role. Additional tasks may be assigned:

• Empty and sanitize all waste receptacles, transporting waste to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of ashtrays and replenish sand in urns as necessary.
• Dust and clean all wall hangings, including frames and charts.
• Perform damp dusting of ceiling vents, air conditioning diffusers, and other ventilation components.
• Vacuum carpets and mats in workspaces, lobbies, and hallways.
• Hand dust and wipe down all office furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Polish and clean all metal hardware and bright work.
• Thoroughly clean and maintain tile flooring as required.
• Wipe and shine all glass surfaces.
• Clean both sides of entryway glass doors.
• Remove stains from vertical surfaces, including doors and light switches.
• Wash and disinfect all water coolers.
• Sweep and vacuum stairways as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of building floors through sweeping and mopping.
• Sanitize and restock supplies in restrooms.

To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and experience required:

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• At least 6 months of experience in a custodial or cleaning role.
