Trades Instructor

ECPI University is seeking a dedicated and passionate Trades Instructor to join our team in Charleston, SC. As a Faculty Instructor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students and help them achieve their career goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver an approved curriculum based on industry standards and best practices
• Monitor student attendance and progress, providing support and guidance as needed
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting academic excellence and student success
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and materials

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience in the trades industry, or equivalent
• Must possess or be eligible for certification and/or license, or other credentials required by contract and/or state of employment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, and squat
• Technical expertise in all subjects taught
• Motivation and enthusiasm for teaching, with a sensitivity to student needs and interests
