Job Title: Cardiac Telemetry Charge Nurse Leader

Estimated Salary: $73,000 - $85,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RN to serve as a Charge Nurse Leader for our Cardiac Telemetry department at Prisma Health. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in nursing, preferably in a leadership or management role.

The successful candidate will oversee patient care activities on the unit, provide direct patient care, and perform administrative duties such as scheduling and payroll processing. They will also be responsible for supervising staff, developing plans for quality improvement, and maintaining high visibility to patients and families.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the nurse manager and other healthcare professionals to achieve organizational goals and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee patient care activities on the unit, ensuring delivery of safe and quality patient care
  • Provide direct patient care, consistent with charge nurse/clinical registered nurse job description accountabilities
  • Supervise staff, develop plans for quality improvement, and maintain high visibility to patients and families
  • Perform administrative duties, including scheduling and payroll processing
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current R.N. Licensure as recognized by South Carolina. A nursing diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing may be considered if you sign a Memorandum of Understanding agreeing to enroll in an accredited BSN or MSN program within one year and obtain a BSN or MSN degree within four years.

A Certified Nursing Specialty is preferred, but not required.
