About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Fulfillment Center Supervisor to join our team at Staples, Inc. in a 2nd shift position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Fulfillment Center leadership to achieve three key goals: delighting customers with outstanding service, driving cost out of the organization, and honoring associates.
  • Motivate and manage hourly associates to achieve performance goals, productivity, accuracy, and quality control standards.
  • Lead the team in ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly planning of the department.
  • Make recommendations and improvements to department processes and procedures.
  • Participate in the hiring, training, and coaching of associates.
  • Use operational reports to evaluate department performance and ensure expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with the Fulfillment Center Team Manager and other management to operate within guidelines and partner for success.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ year of experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand
