About The Community Navigator Program

The California State University Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Coordinator to manage the Community Navigator program. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily contacts with Navigators, parents, and professionals, as well as conducting educational workshops and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and conducting workshops, trainings, and events
  • Support groups, outreach, and community events
  • Staff or team meetings, CNP Lead meetings, Advisory Board meetings, data management, and contributing to reports
  • Professional development

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Regional Center and related services
  • Knowledge of measuring outcomes, qualitative and quantitative data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management
  • Ability to follow through and complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Technical skills (PC, email, Zoom)
  • BA or advanced degree desirable
  • Parent of child with special needs desirable
  • Bilingual desirable
  • Occasional local travel in the community required (reimbursed)

Benefits and Compensation:

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC). The anticipated hiring range is $22/hr - $23/hr, with full pay range of $22/hr - $23/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 403(b), life, AD&D, and flex spending.
