Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at TMC Acquisition LLC. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care
  • Review prescriptions issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed
  • Direct pharmacy technicians engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
  • Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs
  • Enter data such as patient name, prescribed medication, and cost
  • Assay medications to determine identity, purity, and strength
  • Instruct interns and other medical personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy
Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree of Pharmacy
  • 1-2 years of pharmacist experience preferred but not required
  • Management experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year sterile and/or non-sterile compounding experience preferred
  • Kentucky Pharmacist License
  • Licensure in additional states is preferred but not required
