Position Summary:


The Facilities Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support while ensuring that all maintenance tasks and projects are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Assist the Chief Engineer in the administration of all property and equipment maintenance, including preventive measures and repairs, as well as the overall upkeep of the facility and its surroundings.

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will also supervise the engineering staff to ensure optimal performance.

Manage and prioritize work orders for the facility, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.

Diagnose and repair equipment issues within the facility, covering a range of areas such as:


Execute both major and minor projects and repairs related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, paving, stucco, and maintenance of pools and spas.

Assist with unit repair projects and guest room issues, including: flooring, drapes, drywall, plaster, painting, ceilings, lighting, minor electrical and plumbing work, interior and exterior doors, furniture, countertops, appliances, cabinets, televisions, shelving, and other items.

Conduct, manage, and document preventive maintenance activities.

Handle minor roof repairs, painting tasks, and exterior maintenance projects.

Support the team in training efforts to consistently deliver high-quality service.

Assist in identifying needs for contracted repair services.

Availability for on-call duties.

Respond courteously to all guest inquiries, complaints, and requests to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
