Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care with compassion and professionalism
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of patients and colleagues
  • Exhibit clinical expertise and sound judgment
  • Execute interventions as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Develop and revise patient care plans to meet individual needs
  • Comply with the organizational Code of Conduct
  • Fulfill additional nursing duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Engage in special projects and initiatives to improve care

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse
  • Valid AHA BLS/CPR certification along with unit-specific credentials
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Demonstrated reliability and interpersonal effectiveness

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • 1-2 years of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting
  • Preferred certification as a Psychiatric Nurse
  • Prior experience in a charge nurse role
  • Proven leadership capabilities
