Job Overview

Uncommon Schools Rochester Prep is seeking a highly qualified High School Math Teacher to join our team. As a Math Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus to high school students, preparing them for Advanced Placement (AP) and collegiate level coursework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cultivate student awareness of how to make sense of, persevere through, and solve problems.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to support students as they solve problems and think critically.
  • Work with the Math department to determine academic and engagement goals for students.
  • Meet weekly with your principal and/or instructional coach to analyze and respond to trends in student work samples and assessments.
