About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Maintenance Specialist to lead our electrical maintenance engineering activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing safety, quality, and productivity in the daily maintenance of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical safety design modifications and improvements to equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct electrical safety investigations and corrective actions.
  • Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to support the improvement of equipment availability and throughput.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment failures and loss of production.
  • Supervise and schedule daily work for plant electronic technicians.
  • Analyze production delay data to establish and document or modify preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Generate continuous improvement projects based on production delay data.
  • Prepare and review equipment failure/root cause analysis reports and determine/evaluate corrective action items and the impact of corrective action items to the preventive maintenance programs.
  • Develop cost justifications for improvement projects and corrective actions.
  • Develop work orders to detail work requests needed to implement improvements projects or corrective actions.
  • Coordinate outside contractor work activities with maintenance personnel or production personnel as required to minimize impacts to cost and production.
  • Responsible for critical spare parts assessments and parts standardization.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, training, and skill development for electricians and electronic technicians.
  • Determine and install appropriate performance metrics that will promote long-term continuous improvement programs consistent with the operating objectives of the department.
  • Provides support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
  • Perform Project Engineering duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
  • Formal training or experience with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
  • Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance Supervisor position with a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial power supplies, drives, motors, and controls; ability to troubleshoot electrical component controls in an industrial facility.
  • Ability to operate electrical test equipment including meters, oscilloscopes, and other analyzers.
  • Programming experience in PLC Ladder Logic, C/C++, C#, or C.net desired.
