Our client, a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences based out of Pleasanton, CA, is looking for a long-term contract specialist to work in their laboratory. This role plays a crucial part in delivering essential biological materials to support product launches.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or Microbiology with 5-7 years of relevant industry experience. They should be skilled in culturing various microorganisms within an anaerobic chamber and familiar with microbial taxonomy and identification. Experience with ddPCR is a plus.

About the Role:
This role requires the ability to manually manipulate samples on a routine basis and work in a laboratory environment under BSL-2 conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to handle infectious human material and sample types such as blood, serum, urine, and stool.
