We are seeking a highly skilled ER Certified Coder to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coding and abstracting medical records with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coding and abstracting medical records with facility E&M levels
- Meeting departmental accuracy and production standards
- Working with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams
- Staying up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
Requirements:
- Formal working knowledge in Health Information Management or related field
- Equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
- 1-3 years of experience in clinical coding or related field
- Certifications: CCS, CCS-P, COC, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA required
