Job Title: Payroll and HRIS Analyst

At Cree Lighting USA LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and HRIS Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for providing expert support in payroll processing and HRIS management, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely payroll processing in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain and update the HRIS to ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data, train HR staff and other users on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Audit payroll information for accuracy and reconcile payroll deposits, tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and voluntary deductions, uphold strong internal controls and procedures as dictated by federal compliance mandates.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Develop and generate HRIS reports to support HR and business operations, prepare responses to notices from government agencies regarding employee tax filings.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience, minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and HRIS management, experience with ADP or similar payroll/HRIS systems is highly desirable.
