Mobile Equipment Technician

Rogers Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on a wide variety of quarry and construction equipment and trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform heavy or major maintenance repairs as needed.
- Perform routine scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment and trucks.
- Complete maintenance and work order repair records.
- Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects.
- Be able to weld and fabricate, as needed.
- Heavy equipment parts familiarization including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of heavy equipment parts.
- Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment.
- Operate a company vehicle on public highways and job sites.
- Capable of working with limited supervision and scheduling own work.
- Weekend work/overtime may be required.
- Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist, and lift 70lbs.
- Ability to climb and perform work on heights of 20 feet.
- Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions.
- Able to develop working relationships with other employees and vendors.
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- Minimum of three years of experience working on heavy equipment.
