Job Title: Local Contract Nurse RN

The Judge Group is seeking a skilled local contract nurse to join our team in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. As a Med-Surg Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to work as a local contract nurse in our Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med-Surg nursing and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med-Surg setting.
  • Current BLS and CHEMO CERT certifications.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
  • Willingness to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away).
