Job Overview

Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide high-quality care to elderly residents in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' safety and well-being, and promoting social interactions and therapeutic conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and undressing, as well as other hygiene-related responsibilities
  • Support mobility and encourage clients to follow prescribed exercise programs
  • Transfer clients from bed to chair or other equipment, as needed
  • Provide care to pressure point areas, such as backrubs
  • Perform housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, emptying trash, and changing bed linens
  • Assist with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
  • Transport clients to appointments or therapy sessions, as needed
  • Remind clients about medication and assist with pre-dosed medications
  • Provide continence care

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Flexible, sensitive, and reliable, with the ability to cope with emergencies
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
