Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Technician to join our team at the City of Seguin Fire Department. As an Administrative Technician, you will provide administrative support to the Fire Marshal's Office, including receiving payments, processing documents, and maintaining filing systems. You will also assist with scheduling inspections, processing permit payments, and communicating with EMS billing companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist supervisor with administrative tasks, including receiving payments and processing documents
Maintain filing systems and organize documents for routing
Assist with scheduling inspections and processing permit payments
Communicate with EMS billing companies and patients
Perform research tasks under supervision
Maintain and update departmental files and records

Requirements:

High school graduation or equivalent
Valid Texas driver's license
Ability to understand and follow instructions, multi-task, and operate standard office equipment
Knowledge of standard mathematical and grammatical practices, as well as general PC and software skills
