Caregiver for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

Advocates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:
* Assist individuals with daily activities, such as cooking, personal hygiene, and dressing
* Administer and manage medication as needed
* Follow Individual Support Plans (ISPs) to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals served
* Transport individuals to appointments and engage in community activities
* Document shift notes and provide feedback to team members
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent degree
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle
