Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our emergency department.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure effective patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and other relevant factors.
- Contribute to the development of our emergency department, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and providing feedback on patient care.
- Current Virginia State RN License
- Basic Life Support BLS certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS certification (required within 30 days)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS certification (required within 30 days)
- Certified Emergency Nurse CEN certification (required within 2 years)
- Previous Charge RN experience
