Job Summary:

The Procurement Contract Administration Manager position is responsible for facilitating collaboration across Procurement, Supplier, Legal, and other key stakeholder groups to ensure the efficient and effective issuance of procurement contracts that meet Company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain contract standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Legal team to renew, create, and maintain contract templates for Procurement agreements.
  • Lead negotiation and advising/coaching team members to develop contract requirements and execute ongoing contract needs.
  • Ensure contracts are executed on time to meet stakeholder requirements and manage contract performance.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on legal and commercial risks associated with contracts and devise logical approaches to address complex contracting issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of direct work experience in Procurement authoring contracts and negotiating commercial and legal terms and conditions.
  • Advanced understanding of contract law, terms, and conditions, as well as manufacturing, chemical industry-related services, commodities, risk structure, and contracting practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals and personalities at all levels internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently and within an organization to manage tasks and timelines, with a strategic approach for planning and problem-solving.
