Job OverviewPosition Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM + Overtime as required
Compensation: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Potential for a raise after 90 days based on attendance and performance.
Qualifications (IMPORTANT TO REVIEW BEFORE APPLYING)
  • Ability to successfully complete a drug screening and background investigation prior to employment.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to efficiently load and unload flatbed trailers while transporting materials to specified production or logistical locations. This role also involves operating a band saw machine.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize both sit-down and stand-up forklift equipment to load, unload, and transport materials to and from warehouse and production areas promptly.
  • Assist with various warehouse tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Engage in manual handling of materials as necessary, including getting on and off the forklift.
Experience and Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in loading and unloading trailers using a forklift is essential.
  • Experience in handling unpalletized products is required.
