About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician II to join our team at Desert Valley Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Southern California. As a Radiology Technician II, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
  • Function as the first line interface with customers and ensure their imaging needs are met.
  • Participate in quality control activities and assist in maintaining performance improvement programs.
  • Oversee radiology areas and staff in the absence of management.
  • Maintain department supplies and promote teamwork and good customer service.
Requirements
  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
  • Appropriate national certifications in two modalities (effective July 1, 2017).
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
  • One year of acute clinical radiography experience preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $31.50 to $46.00, with the exact starting compensation determined at the time of hire based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, and licensure.
