We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician II to join our team at Desert Valley Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Southern California. As a Radiology Technician II, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
- Function as the first line interface with customers and ensure their imaging needs are met.
- Participate in quality control activities and assist in maintaining performance improvement programs.
- Oversee radiology areas and staff in the absence of management.
- Maintain department supplies and promote teamwork and good customer service.
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities (effective July 1, 2017).
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- One year of acute clinical radiography experience preferred.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
- Proficient computer skills.
Desert Valley Hospital offers a competitive compensation package, including paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $31.50 to $46.00, with the exact starting compensation determined at the time of hire based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, and licensure.
