Job SummaryThe Nurse Specialist - Critical Care will be responsible for performing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying needs and developing tailored care plans
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience as a Staff Nurse in an acute care/hospital setting
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 12 months of hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 90 days of hire
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including:
