Critical Care Technician

As a Critical Care Technician, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team, providing essential support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to a collaborative healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver age-appropriate care under the supervision of registered nursing staff.
- Assist in the daily care and mobility of patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collect and report relevant patient data to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the implementation of care plans, focusing on timely and safe patient discharges.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all interactions.
About the Unit:
Join a newly established observation unit dedicated to managing a variety of medical conditions, including:
- Chest pain
- Syncope
- COPD exacerbations
- Pneumonia
- Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA)
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)
- Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
- Dizziness and Peripheral Vertigo
- End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and missed dialysis
- Cellulitis and intractable nausea and vomiting
This unit emphasizes a collaborative approach to patient care, supported by a dedicated team of healthcare providers and care management professionals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- A minimum of six months of experience in a similar role or relevant healthcare experience.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from a recognized provider.
