Job Summary

Bridgeprep Academy, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ESOL Educator to join our team. As an ESOL Educator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the academic success of our English Language Learner students.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Leadership

  • Develop and implement high-quality instructional programs that meet the needs of English Language Learners.
  • Provide coaching and support to teachers to enhance their instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of ELL students.

Student Achievement

  • Monitor and analyze student progress to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Work with teachers to set and achieve academic goals for ELL students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation.

Program Development

  • Design and implement professional development programs for teachers to enhance their knowledge and skills in teaching ELL students.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations to provide resources and support for ELL students and their families.
  • Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement policies and procedures that support ELL students.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure that ELL students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for ELL students.
  • Provide regular progress updates to parents and guardians on their child's academic progress.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Florida certification in at least one area of exceptionality.
  • ESOL Endorsement.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
  • Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
