Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Acute Medical Surgical Unit. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, requiring flexibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic and intermediate nursing care for assigned patients, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Possession of a current state or national nurse's aide certification or a certification as a phlebotomist, medical technician, patient care technician, medical assistant, EKG tech, or in another related field.
  • BLS certification, obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year hospital experience.
