Key Responsibilities:

The Culinary Specialist will prepare nutritious and appealing meals tailored to meet the dietary needs of our guests. Specific duties include:

  • Adhering to standardized recipes
  • Preparing meals according to menu cycles established by registered dietitians
  • Cooking and presenting meals that are appetizing, nutritionally balanced, and served at optimal temperatures
  • Utilizing food supplies and equipment efficiently to minimize waste
  • Offering food alternatives to accommodate guest preferences
  • Overseeing culinary staff in food storage, preparation, tray assembly, and sanitation
  • In the absence of supervisory staff, managing the culinary team

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience as a cook or dietary aide in a food service environment preferred
