Position: Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM)
Health Systems Management, Inc. (HSM) is a premier healthcare management organization with over 35 years of experience in delivering comprehensive management and administrative services for dialysis facilities across multiple states. HSM is renowned in the renal care sector for its commitment to high-quality patient care and collaborative physician engagement while ensuring efficient operational practices. We are in search of a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse Manager to enhance our dialysis team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the organization’s philosophy, objectives, and standards of care, adhering to the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act and other regulatory bodies.
- Foster a collaborative work environment through effective communication and team-building strategies, addressing operational challenges proactively.
- Ensure a safe atmosphere for both patients and staff, in line with the organization's safety protocols and care standards.
- Oversee and facilitate staff development initiatives to guarantee clinical proficiency, including: A) comprehensive orientation for new hires; B) opportunities for in-service training and relevant seminars; C) clear communication and implementation of facility policies; D) conducting meaningful performance evaluations.
- Manage and enhance quality care delivery by evaluating unit operations through the Quality Assessment and Improvement Process (QAPI), implementing necessary changes to improve patient care and education in compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintain a leadership role in program planning and development, providing facility management support in the absence of the Facility Manager or Nurse Administrator.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and education as a self-directed professional.
- Collaborate with the Facility Manager and/or Nurse Administrator in the implementation and oversight of the facility's budget, including operational and staffing expenses.
- Accountable for additional responsibilities such as policy development and data management.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the relevant state.
- ACLS Certification.
- 1-3 years of management experience is preferred, particularly in hemodialysis.
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to cover shifts as needed.
- Exceptional bedside manner and communication skills.
- Successful completion of the Ishihara's Color Blind Test is required.
